Some historic photos for the updated website

I've included a few historic photos on the new revamped school website. These are just a few of them.

A picture of children and parents in the old classroom in the late sixties having what looks like a party or maybe a Christmas break-up lunch.

The old Bush Inn Hotel pre World War One.( Although it looks like 'White Swan Hotel' written on the side of it. Maybe that is where the name for the reservoir came from?)
What is left of the hotel is now under water.

Interesting story about scientific inaccuracies in Moby Dick ( surprising as Melville sailed on a whaler) from Huffington Post

Also R.A. Montgomery, the author and publisher who founded the Choose Your Own Adventure book series recently while at his home in Vermont. He was 78.

Montgomery's popular Choose Your Own Adventure series allowed readers to select different actions at different points in the plot, leading to different outcomes and, ultimately, a variety of conclusions. His passion for the series was rooted in his value for finding innovative ways of reaching young learners, as he believed the role-playing element of the series allowed students to learn to fully engage in a book.

No school library in Victoria in the 1980s-90s were complete without some of his his well thumbed books ( along with Goosebumps and Baby Sitters Club.
