We had some noisy and rambunctious black cockatoos at school today. They nested in some nearby pine trees and attacked their pine cones for most of the day. Cones were hitting the ground with monotonous regularity.
It was also sad to see an old 19th century house which has been boarded up for years ( since I've been at Glen Park) burnt out this morning. It must of happened last night.
