Last post for 2018

Another frustrating year for small rural school educators and leaders in Victorian schools. Still no personal planning days for teaching principals and no sign of learning specialists in small rural schools. I’ve been emailing and tweeting Merlino and DET over this to no avail. Central and Regional Office are useless as usual. More facile paperwork that is getting harder to keep up with and more hollow education speak to decipher. AEU next to useless. DeVos crooked and the UK a mess. Best of luck to Pelosi and Corbyn.

On a positive note the LNP was smashed in the state election so no return for them. They literally had no education policy. 

Birmingham gone federally and replaced by Tehan but still inequitable funding for state schools continues. Private’s continue to prosper but I think more people see through their bullshit and lies. Federally Labor should romp home this year and we should see increased state school spending. Also my amendment about the Halsey Report apparently got up. More on that in 2019.
