The Black Castle

The Black Castle features as the main setting for Margery Sharp's The Rescuers. We finished the book the other day and watched the DVD and today the children drew their own ominous Black Castles and they did a fantastic job. ( Refer to the photos below) Currently we are reading The One Hundred and One Dalmatians by Dodie Smith ( Yes it was a book before Disney got hold of it) so I have also attached a photo of our display table. One of my students took a photo of me getting water for our painting table off the roof during a winter downpour. We don't have a leaking roof just a full water tank. Notched up over 5500 views today. Thanks to all those who have visited recently.
