Back from Sovereign Hill

My grade 5 students came back from Sovereign Hill today. They had a great time. One of my boys won a prize for staying in character so well. Today is the second last day for my student teacher ( Leah, pictured below) who taught poetry while she was here. She taught cinquain, diamanté, acrostic and haiku poems. the children created some great poems which Leah is putting into an anthology for them.They also started making their werewolves in cages art projects which are turning out well. ( I Will put all of my horror art tasks on TPT next week)
