Fake stretched hide


Above is the aftermath of yesterday's fire. lots of firewood for someone who is quick enough.

The grade 6 kids are making some fake stretched hides for our Last of the Mohicans art. ( Not sure about the 'rainbow snail motif?' )

This student drew the image using fabric markers on calico and then painted over it with brown water color.

She then stretched the 'hide' out and tied it to a frame ( supple willow twigs) 
Below is the finished product.
Three that have been collected and on display.

The grade 4 kids wrote newspaper stories for Blueback.
