Glorious spring day

Today was too good a day to spend at school updating OHS documentation. The sun was out and Ballarat Botanical Gardens looked glorious.
I had a stroll around and took a few photos below.

The Fernery at the gardens was first constructed in 1884 but has recently been partly dismantled. The Friends of the Botanical Gardens are raising funds to re- build it using a modern interpretation of its original gothic style.

Gough Whitlam's bust as part of the Prime Minister's Walk. It looks like they are preparing a space for a bust of Julia Gillard. I hope it isn't a characature like the busts of Keating and Hawke.
