Science Day
Today we had a visit from Heather and Doris from PrimeSCI ( Monash University) who ran a fantastic half day science program for the kids. Doris showed the kids an impressive collection of fossil bones and talked about their characteristics and then helped them make molds of a dinosaur tooth and claw.
Heather investigated chemicals and brought along some dry-ice for some fun experiments. The kids had a terrific time dressing up like scientists and experimenting with household chemicals to make fascinating reactions ( including lots of 'blowing-up' experiments)
