Another busy day for the second day back, very wet and dreary outside. Tomorrow we have a late start and we'll be off to Melbourne to see The Lion King. today the grade 5s started work on The Moonstone and began with a cloze exercise and an activity where they explored the relationships and motives of those at Miss Rachel's fateful birthday party where she showed off the Moonstone.
We will,do some research work on India, make a top hat and create a jewellery box over the next few weeks. grade 2-3 finished The Bearskinner and will start The Brave Little Tailor on Thursday. The grade 1s started their work on fables today with Jess by making a story map for The Hare and the Tortoise.
