We are about two thirds of the way through Captains Courageous. Today we've been looking at the life of Rudyard Kipling and listing some of his other works.I also designed a model of a Grand Banks dory we can make in art next week.
One of my students has finished reading a series of Science fiction books and we made a model of the solar system using polystyrene spheres and wire. He did a fantastic job including adding glitter to The Sun. We also made some labels he can add to it. We didn't make it at school. He took it home in pieces to assemble there.
