Lake Burrumbeet is a fresh water lake about 20 km west of Ballarat. I went out there this afternoon to help my daughter take photos for her year 11 Photography class.(I took a few of my own, nowhere near as good as hers though. two photos below) Lake Burrumbeet was empty during the drought, it must be shallow. They're doing a lot of road works around there at the moment. I noticed the pub was closed. ( that might be seasonal as the lake is a popular attraction for water skiers in summer) It was wet and cold and gloomy this evening.
