Yvonne Horsefield ( local author) popped out to school today and presented us with her new book 'Patrick the Wombat' based on the 30 year old wombat, Patrick from Ballarat Wildlife Park. She read us the book and talked about her writing process. She also showed us the original sketches her son Garth drew. It was interesting to see how she puts her books together.
Funny day this morning. Rabbits everywhere! This courageous rabbit would not be spooked by cattle! If he was a native animal he would be my hero!
But as he is a pest he is now my new nemesis!
