Another busy day

Another busy day at Glen Park Primary School. Today we are finishing our 'restaurant maths' project. ( I will take a photo of them on display tomorrow ) the children have to create their own themed restaurant, design a shop front, design a floor plan for their restaurant ( some have used a a blueprint app) and also create 4 distinctive, costed menus.
My early years students are finishing work on John Burningham books ( photo of their readers tomorrow) and will start a theme on Eric Carle's books tomorrow. We are also working on War of the Worlds at the moment. I have been experimenting with an app called Cover Creator.( refer to the photo below) The grade 5 and 6 children will try their hand at creating their own War of the Worlds magazine cover. My neighbours have been mowing their grass next door over the last few days, creating feed for their cattle. ( refer photo below)
