Today we started work on suitcases for Carrie and her brother Nick from Carries War.
I will provide a template in my unit but I bought paper mâché suitcases from a craft store for our purposes. We started by painting them.
We added tags. ( There are plenty of examples on Google. just type in 'London Blitz evacuees luggage labels'
We also added some of the items ( drawn and colored on cardboard) they took. I will provide an original suggested packing list.
We also started work on a glossary based on unusual words from the text.
