Mosaics

I finished reading 'Carbonel' on the weekend and will start developing a two week unit for it for after the holidays. Today the grade 5s completed some fantastic mosaic picture frames. ( Photos below) 

The grade 2-3 kids will be finishing off Robinson Crusoe tomorrow and starting work on Gulliver's Travels on Wednesday. ( I should have the book finished by then and we'll watch the old animated movie version on YouTube on Thursday.)

The grade 5s also made Roman numerals using match sticks ( photo below)
